Mr. Lemke-Principal

         Mr. Peter Lemke-Principal

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11

I have served as a WELS grade school teacher/principal for 31 years
My ministry has led me to serve in three states:
St. Matthew’s Lutheran School, Benton Harbor MI
Petra Lutheran School, Sauk Rapids, MN
First Lutheran School, Lake Geneva, WI
Risen Savior Lutheran School, Milwaukee, WI
St. John's Lutheran School, Jefferson, WI

Dr. Martin Luther College 1985-1989
Western Michigan University 1989-1992

My wife and our four children have all served in the ministry as teachers.  I am thankful to God for allowing us all to serve in his kingdom here on earth.
I feel very blessed to be able to serve at St. John’s Lutheran School and continue the work of spreading the wonderful message of the Gospel to the children of the Jefferson area.

I enjoy spending time hunting and fishing during my free time.  My family and I also love to travel whenever possible to see the wonders of God’s creation.

If you would like more information about our school, please contact me at: or
call the school at (920) 674-2922

Have a blessed day, Mr. Lemke
